A fabulous Antique Suffragette pendant dating from the late Edwardian era, Circa 1910. The piece is an elaborate ribbon-like design fashioned in 15ct Yellow Gold with a wreath in the centre. It is decorated with Pearls and crowned with a lovely 0.60ct Amethyst at its heart, accompanied by a 0.70ct Peridot dropper.
As with all Suffragette jewellery, the colours are significant, with green, white and violet carrying the meaning “Give Women Votes”, declaring support for the movement which achieved this momentous change in society.
The pendant would look wonderful on a Gold chain and is a stunning example of the jewellery crafted to show support for the movement.
