A gorgeous Antique Edwardian Suffragette ring featuring a round face decorated with glistening Diamonds and a central flower made up of a 0.08ct Amethyst and six 0.15ct Peridot petals.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which were chosen to counter the masculine women’s rights stereotypes put forward by opponents. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
The stones are set in a White Gold gallery and backed in 18ct Gold including the shank which has turned a lovely rosy hue with age. It is a fabulous design and very eye-catching.
